A doctoral graduate research assistantship position in the Anco Lab is open starting Spring 2019 for a motivated and hardworking student to work on a series of projects involving integrated late leaf spot management and epidemiology. The position will be located within the Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences at the Edisto Research and Education Center in Blackville, SC, though some coursework may be completed at Clemson University's main campus. Opportunities for collaboration are available to conduct cross disciplinary studies, as are opportunities to work with growers and gain experience with Extension programming. The position will be open until a suitable candidate is identified.
should work effectively both independently and in a team, be self-motivated, have
the ability to work outside for several hours, lift 50 lbs., and possess
excellent organizational and communication skills in English. Experience with
field work and data analysis/management is desirable. Applicants with a
Master's degree in a related field are preferred.
