ASSOCIATE PLANT PATHOLOGIST (DIAGNOSTICIAN)

DEPARTMENT OF FOOD AND AGRICULTURE

Spot exam for: SACRAMENTO COUNTY

Final File Date: 09/28/18

Monthly Salary: Range A: $5,508.00 - $6,844.00

Applying for a state of California job is a two-step process. The first step is that the job applicant must take “an exam” and submit all required transcripts, state application and the completed exam exactly as instructed in the official exam bulletin which is the link in the announcement below. With this application and exam, if the candidate meets the minimum qualifications, the candidate will be placed on a list from which we hire from. If you are not on this list, you cannot be hired. Step two is that the candidate must apply for the actual Associate Plant Pathologist opening when it is advertised.  This advertisement will come out after the exam list has been completed. If anyone has any questions feel free to contact Cindy Torres at (916) 403-6581 or cindy.torres@cdfa.ca.gov about the application process. I would encourage people to complete the exam process soon. It is not an intuitive process. Thanks very much!
